Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the iTaukei Institute of Language & Culture eLibrary (the "eLibrary") operated by the Ministry of I-Taukei Affairs in Fiji.
By accessing or using the eLibrary, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using the eLibrary.
1. Use of the eLibrary
1.1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the eLibrary. If you are under 13, you may only use the eLibrary with parental consent.
1.2. User Account
To access certain features of the eLibrary, you may be required to register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
1.3. Content Contributions
If you contribute content to the eLibrary, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform. You represent that you have the necessary rights to contribute this content.
1.4. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to engage in any illegal or unauthorized activities when using the eLibrary. This includes but is not limited to copyright infringement, harassment, or any form of harmful conduct.
2. Content Guidelines
2.1. Content Restrictions
Content shared on the eLibrary must adhere to the principles of respect for iTaukei culture and heritage. Content that promotes hate, discrimination, or harm to individuals or groups will not be tolerated.
2.2. Monitoring
We reserve the right to monitor and moderate user-generated content to ensure it complies with our guidelines. We may remove or restrict access to content that violates these guidelines.
3. Privacy
Your use of the eLibrary is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
4. Changes to the Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the eLibrary after any changes constitute acceptance of the new Terms.
5. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the eLibrary at our discretion, without notice, for any violation of these Terms.
